We're getting married and we would love for you to celebrate our big day with us in Brighton! On Saturday 5 September 2026, we will welcome our closest family and friends to Brighton as we mark 10 years of our love and partnership. We would be thrilled to have you there. We've included some information on the venue, travel, and things to do if you have more time to explore the city. We are excited to be getting married in our local church and then moving on to a nearby venue for a meal with our closest family before the evening reception begins. Your invite should make clear which parts of the day we would love you to join us for and what time to arrive. Details of the two venues below:

The wedding ceremony will be held at St Peter's. · Arrive from 10.30am for a 11am start – don’t be late!· The ceremony should finish around 12pm· To be followed by confetti, photos, and a celebratory drink

The family meal and evening reception will be held at St Augustine's. · Invited guests will leave together from St Peter’s at around 1.30pm, with celebratory meal to follow at 3pm· Evening reception guests should arrive from 6pm· We’ll be calling it a night at 11.30pm!

Venues

Whether you're coming for the day or making a weekend of it, Brighton is very easy to get to.

Train

Direct trains run from London Victoria, St Pancras, and London Bridge (approx. 1 hour) as well as from Gatwick Airport. Both venues are a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from Brighton Station. There are regular trains until around midnight if you're considering a day return from London.

From Brighton Station, St Peter's church is only a 7 minute walk downhill so no bus needed! To get to St Augustine's, walk to London Road and take either the 5B or 32 for a 5 minute journey.

Follow the M23/A23 from London. No parking is available directly at either the church or reception, but we can provide a permit for <a href="https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/parking-zones?field_zone_id_value=J#map" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Zone J</a>, which is located in the residential area between our two venues. Please request a permit on your RSVP if needed.

London Gatwick (LGW) is the closest airport with direct trains to Brighton. From Heathrow (LHR), National Express coaches run hourly to Brighton.

Taxi

Ranks are located outside both venues. Local services include Uber, FREENOW, or Streamline (01273 202020).

Transport

There are a huge number of hotels in Brighton to suit all budgets, but it can get busy in the summer months so we would advise booking early! Brighton is super easy to get to from London, with trains running till around midnight - so also very easy to head back after the event if you'd prefer.

Bouji

<a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=https://www.artistresidence.co.uk/brighton/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Artist Residence</a>A quirky, creative hotel in Regency Square. A bit more of a trek, but perfect if you want to see the seafront. <a href="https://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Grand</a>For the classic, iconic Brighton stay. It is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute taxi from the church.

Airbnb

If you're looking for an Airbnb, the North Laine, Hanover and Elm Grove areas are beautiful and close to St Peter's church. If you'd prefer to be closer to the evening reception, look for stays near Preston Park, Fiveways or Lewes Road area.

Accommodation

Celebrating with our family and friends means the world to us and we truly value you making the effort to be there. If you would like to give a gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon! Having both worked in the charity sector, giving back and supporting good causes remains something we both care about. We’ll be making donations to two charities close to our hearts, Prostate Cancer UK, and VSO (where we met 10 years ago). There will be an opportunity to donate on the day.

We’re biased, but we think Brighton and the Sussex Downs is the best place to spend a weekend and we hope you get a chance to explore more after the wedding!
