What time should I arrive?
You should have been told whether we'd love you to join for the ceremony, family meal or reception. We'll confirm timings a little closer to the big day - but the ceremony will be mid-morning, family meal mid afternoon, and reception early evening.
How do I get from the church to the reception?
It's a really simple journey.
Walk: 18 minutes/0.7mile walk on flat ground.
Bus: 10 minutes with the 52/5B. Tap on and off with a contactless card. Fare is £3.
Taxi: 5 minutes with Uber, FREENOW, or Streamline (01273 202020).
We will have people on hand to make sure you're headed in the right direction!
Where should I park?
No parking is available directly at either the church or reception. But we can provide a permit for Zone J, which is located in the residential area between our two venues. This means you'll be about a 10-minute walk from St Peter's Church and a 1-2 minute walk from St Augustine's. Please request a permit on your RSVP if needed!
What is accessibility like at the venues?
There is level, step-free access inside the majority of both venues. A wheelchair accessible toilet is available. Contact us if parking will be required.
What is the dress code?
Bright bold colours! It's the end of summer, we want to end the season on a high. Please join us in your favourite colours or cultural attire. Think smart, vibrant, and celebratory!
Will the ceremony be live streamed?
Yes! We hope to stream the ceremony on YouTube for those who can't be there in person. If you would like the link please let us know and we'll share closer to the time.
What if I have dietary requirements?
Please let us know on your RSVP!
Are children welcome?
We really want to spend our wedding catching up with the adults we love - so we're afraid no children at this one please. Hope you understand and that it's an excuse for a night off!
